Development of a / the new "easyshade" generation. By optimizing the ergonomics and implementing the latest technical developments / knowledge, a new icon in tooth shade measurement technology should emerge.
The Solution
The complete revision of the inner and outer values make the new generation Vita easyshad V a status quo. In close cooperation with the end user, we have developed a product that ensures reliable and economical, accurate tooth shade information in the VITA shade standards, shade reproduction and thus reduction of shade corrections.
PERFECT LINES
Taking into account the iconographic effect of its predecessor, the handling / ergonomics have been improved and the design has created a friendly and independent impression. “The icon lives on”. Soft shape transitions and a seamless design lead to significantly improved working comfort and enable easy measurement of the front and incisors in one operation. Workflows, such as infection protection, have also been optimized through the well-thought through design. Exchangeable attachments and the use of specific materials ensure that the patient and the doctor can interact.
A FRIENDLY AND INTUITIVE UI
The integrated OLED touch display with intuitive user interface and the contactless, inductive charging round off the "smartness" and the high mobile value of the Easyshade.
The color coding enables simple, intuitive and efficient use as well as fast digital communication for the data exchange of tooth shade and image information between the practice and the laboratory.
With the help of a team of scientific experts and software designers, a technology was developed that makes interpreting the color information child's play.
Mechanical Engeneering
The big challenge was to miniaturize the technical components and at the same time meet the high demands on material and handling.

- Seamless housing design for improved infection protection, wipe disinfection
- Bluetooth interface for faster communication, transmission to the dental laboratory
